Ugh! I spent all day yesterday in meetings and have more lined up for today. I feel more convinced than ever that they plan to remove our positions. It’s just a matter of time and going through the motions so they can change the structure of the unit, and then say that our positions are contestable. Essentially they want to employ less qualified workers at half the wages. And the sad thing is that the people it will affect the most are the most vulnerable and least able to speak up about the reduction in services.? It’s easy to remove services for the disadvantaged, they lack political power.
