I’m on holidays at the moment which is really nice. I’ve been wasting time on etsy daydreaming and window shopping and laying around watching movies. But today I am heading off to take DD to a job interview. It’s about six hours away… a lovely country drive so I’ll try and grab a few photos along the way.

I’ve been enjoying my holidays by decluttering and working on my webistes, so not much to report. It’s just lovely to wake up and only have myself to please! And lovely not to go anywhere, to just stay home and do all those jobs that I never seem to have time for.

We hit a new milestone with our debt payoff this morning, there is exactly $50,000 left to repay. So we’ve now repaid $24,091 in the last nine months. I’m still embarrassed by such a large amount, but it’s one third gone. All we’ve got to do now is repeat what we’ve done twice more and we’re done!

I’ve had to do a new snowball as one balance transfer was done incorrectly, same amount of money but off the wrong card. But it’s all good. I’ve updated the debt page to show what is owing from today. I’ve updated the sidebar again. So far we’ve paid $16019 off the debt!? (doing a little happy dance here!).

Asking, “do I qualify for debt relief?” You must have over $10,000 in unsecured debts. You can also qualify for these programs if you are behind by 4 months or less in your bill payments. But it depends on the provisions of the company.
