We have all seen the commercials for “free credit reports”, and wondered just how “free” viewing those credit reports actually are, especially considering the business must somehow pay for all that advertisement. As a matter of fact it must be a free service or they could not advertise it as such. But… they will try to charge you by offering a monthly service that involves them keeping tabs on your credit and once you give them your credit card information, will bill you until you request they stop.
